Important Information

  1. The results of the abstract submissions will be available on 20th May 2024. Check your emails!

  2. Conference registration is mandatory for acceptance of abstracts for ACU-2024

  3. Please register yourself before 05th of May 2024.

  4. Sending the abstract via manual email after the deadline does not guarantee its acceptance.

  5. According to the conference policy, speakers whose abstracts are selected will be responsible for arranging their own conference registration, room reservation, and transportation, including air tickets.

  6. All other speaker guidelines, including talk time and additional details, will be provided to you in the acceptance email.

  7. ACU-2024 scientific committee expresses gratitude to all colleagues, both senior and junior, who submitted abstracts, as well as those who played a role in making this academic event successful.

Guideline for Speakers

Many thanks for holding a presentation on the 24th Annual Cardiology Update (ACU-2024) 

The purpose of this document is to:

Advise speakers on the required format when preparing their presentations for the 24th Annual Cardiology Update (ACU-2024)

  • Abstracts should be original and not previously published or presented at any other conference.

  • Abstracts should be no more than 250-300 words and should clearly outline the purpose, methods, results, and conclusions of the study.

  • Abstracts must be submitted electronically through the conference website or submission portal.

  • Please ensure that all required fields are completed accurately during the submission process.

  • Accepted abstracts will be presented either orally or as posters, depending on the conference program.

  • Authors will receive a confirmation email upon successful submission.

  • The deadline for abstract submission is 10th May 2024.

  • Late submissions will not be considered.

  • Visual presentations have to be prepared in Microsoft PowerPoint format;

  • All speakers are requested to follow timelines.

  • Acceptance of abstract do not include conference registration, travel, and accommodation.

  • Each slide should be concise, uncluttered, and readable from a distance; include only key words and phrases for visual reinforcement. Avoid lengthy text.

  • Presentations must be uploaded at the at the Preview Room (Zaver Hall) prior to the sessions. using own laptop for presentation will not be allowed.

  • Please follow strictly presentation time.

  • Basic AV setup will be provided: Laptop, laser pointer, mics, basic sound system.

  • If you have any audio/video to be played, they should be checked in with the AV team 24 hours before your presentation.
